Premiere Pro CS4 New Features
Premiere Pro CS4 New Features highlights the slick upgrades added to Adobe's powerful video editing software. Instructor Paul Trani demonstrates how to streamline assets with metadata, integrate projects with other Adobe applications such as Photoshop and After Effects, and create new sequence and project settings. He then shows how to create an efficient workflow using the new speech–to–text function, which gives the user the ability to find exactly when a word was spoken. Premiere Pro CS4 New Features offers an easy way to view this application's capability and allows the user to get up and running quickly. Exercise files accompany the course.

New Sequence and Project settings
- [Voiceover] Here we are in Adobe Premiere Pro CS4, and what I'm gonna focus on is the project settings panel. And you can see I have a sequence in here so far, and it does have settings for standard ntsc. So in previous versions, when I made a new sequence I would be confined to those same ntsc settings. Let's take a look at what happens when I select a new sequence from Premiere Pro CS4. I have pretty much the versatility to select any setting I want.
Sort of regardless of what any other sequences are set at in the project. So sure enough I can select mobile devices, maybe if I want to make a video for my iPod, I can go ahead and make an interview for mobile. Select okay. And sure enough I have different sequence settings all within one project. So as you can see sequences can have different settings within the same project providing for more flexibility.
