Removing shake with the video stabilizer
- Often when you've shot a scene, especially if you shot it with a handheld camera, it's got a bit more shake and wiggle in it than you'd prefer. shaky camera work draws attention to the camera. Now, fortunately, Premier Elements includes an excellent tool for taking some of the shake out of those handheld shots. We have video here that we shot going down a highway and you can see there's a lot of wiggle, a lot of shake in this video. Let's select that clip on the timeline and go over to the adjustments panel, which is there at the top of the tool bar and we'll select shake reduction. Now there is a quick and a detailed version of shake reduction. I haven't seen a lot of difference in the two, so I'm just going to select detailed. It's going to do an analysis of the clip. It's going to find a center point, and then it's going to add some motion tracking to the clip to keep that center point in the center of the video.…
