Grading color with Hollywood Looks
- [Instructor] Hollywood Looks are simple one-step tools for changing the entire tone of your movie by applying an effect or adjusting your video's color levels, lighting or tint. Professionals call this color grading. And it's often what makes movies look like movies. They're a great way to add an effect or set or change the tone of a movie or a scene. Hollywood looks are in the effects panel, which you can open by clicking on Effects, right over here on the toolbar on the right. If you just go to the category, Hollywood Looks, you'll see there's 16 looks here. We'll add Comic look to our movie. You just drag it right onto the movie clip, or onto an adjustment layer, and your entire movie changes tone. Sometimes there's an effect applied, sometimes there are some adjustments applied, but the entire tone of the movie is changed. Among these choices are Crushed Color and Deep Copper. These tend to desaturate the movie.…
