Adding media from your hard drive

- [Instructor] When your media files, that's your video, your still photos, your audio and your music files are already on your computer, all you need to do is import them into your Premiere Elements project. To import media into your project, the easiest way to do that is to go to Add Media and select Files and folders. We can select a series of files. I'm just going to hold down the Shift key and select the first and last in the series and click Open. And what you import into your project show up in the Project Assets panel. Now, if you're in Quick view rather than Expert view, we'll just jump over there for a moment. When you add any media the media is added directly to the timeline. There is not a Project Assets panel that's sort of a holding area. So a little bit different there in Quick view. But let's go back to Expert view.
