- [Instructor] So when we turn on PowerShell remoting, we have to go to every machine, at least that's what we talked about on the last video. So assuming we don't want to go to every machine, how do we turn on PowerShell remoting through Group Policy Object, because that's going to be a lot easier in most environments. So keeping in mind, we don't need to do this if our environments are Windows 2012 and above, we only need to do this for the older versions of Windows. We can push out all these changes through group policy, and that way we can enable remoting without having to go touch all of our servers, assuming all of our servers are within a single active directory domain. Obviously group policy objects are not going to apply to non-domain running machines. So this is going to be a great reason to have a domain, if you don't have one currently.
