Working with a script
- [Instructor] Almost every elearning project is going to start with some kind of a script. So maybe you're writing it from scratch or maybe you're working with a SME on this. Either way, this is usually where it all begins. So when you're writing or editing a script, here are some best practices. Think about flow. You can start with some additional high-level notes in your notebook or even do a story mapping exercise for flow of content. I sometimes decorate my walls with Post-it notes of headers, bullet points, and sketches of graphics just to get an idea of where things are headed as I'm refining the flow. Ask yourself, does the content you're reading directly tie back to the learning goals and objectives? Remember, they are our North Star, so everything should always tie back to those.
