Working with file options using Backstage view
- At any time, if you decide you're done with one presentation and want to move on to another one, at first glance, it looks like you have to close out of PowerPoint entirely and then re-open it. That's not the case. Everything happens Backstage, which is Microsoft's term for all the things that you can actually do with a file. To get Backstage, click File on the ribbon tool bar. This is going to bring you to what Microsoft calls Backstage View. From here, you can create a new PowerPoint file, open an existing one, save one that you're currently working on, or print it. You can also share and export it, and we'll be talking about how to do all these things in later videos, and you can also close out of it entirely. Right now we're on the Info tab, and this tells us all sorts of great things about our presentation. We'll be going over all the options that you can do in the Info tab, but right now, I want to move to the right-hand side of the screen and look at the Properties. The…
