Using Outline mode to edit content

- Sometimes you might just want to add content directly without the visual clutter behind the photos, clip art, and design of your presentation. That's what Outline mode is for. Outline gives you a text-only version of your slides so that you can edit them directly. To access Outline mode, click the View Ribbon tab and then click Outline View. You'll be brought to the text-only version of your slides. You can still see the slide that you have selected on the right, and in fact you can make changes and watch those changes on the fly. Watch as I delete this numbered list item. I can see my slide in action on the right-hand side. I can even work with slides to rearrange them. I can click and drag, and move them around in my presentation just like I could in the regular Navigator View. Let's create a new slide. Here's my Functions slide. I'm going to click on this slide and hit the Enter key on my keyboard. It's going to create a new slide, and now I can start typing my header. I'll hit…
