Learn how to use the Presentation Translator add-in for PowerPoint that can translate all the text in your PowerPoint slides. Also, using your computer's microphone, discover how it can provide real-time translated text on screen based on what you say during a presentation. The Presentation Translator add-in is an experimental Microsoft Garage project, so Microsoft does not offer support for it.
- [Instructor] Microsoft has created…an experimental add in for PowerPoint…that let's you translate your presentation…to another language.…At the time of this recording,…it is considered experimental…because it's not totally finished…it is not beneficially released…but it is available to install and try out…and in my experience,…it does work well…and it's really useful.…To find and install it,…simply go to this page…or search for Microsoft Presentation Translator.…Then go through the process to install it.…You'll just follow the prompts here,…that takes you to this page…where you have a button to download and install it.…
Now, I already installed this,…so for now I can minimize this window,…and I'm going to open up this presentation.…Once you have Presentation Translator installed,…all you need to do is go to the Slide Show ribbon…and you'll see some controls here…relating to that add in.…So, this add in does two things,…it can translate the text in your slides…or it can display subtitles…that translates anything you say during your presentation.…
