Add-ins are small pieces of software that give PowerPoint additional functionality. This video explores how to install new add-ins and manage them. It also demonstrates one specific add-in to get an idea of what they can offer.
- [Narrator] In this week's PowerPoint tips,…we're going to look at add-ins.…These are tiny pieces of software…that can add extra functionality to PowerPoint,…similar to extensions in a web browser.…Now where you find add-ins is going…to be a little bit different depending on which version…of PowerPoint you're using.…You may have a ribbon up here at the top labeled add-ins,…or as in my case, you may go to the insert ribbon…where you'll find a menu for add-ins.…Either way, you should see these two options.…If you go to my add-ins,…you can manage the add-ins that you already have installed.…
So if I click here, I don't see anything…because I have not yet installed any add-ins…on this computer.…So for now I'm going to close that.…I'll go back to the menu…and so of course, to find add-ins that you can install,…we'll go to the store.…From here, you can browse through the different categories…you see over here.…Or if you know the name of an add-in,…or a feature you're looking for you can do a search.…Or you can just start browsing through this list…
