Understanding object layering

- The order in which objects are placed on top of each other can be critical to the design of your presentation. It can make the difference in looking like it was done quickly or that you really took the time to make a beautiful presentation. You can fine-tune objects and photos right down to the order in which they are placed on top of each other. This becomes important when you have text boxes, photos, and other content that overlaps. The order in which you add an element to the slide makes it the newest object on top. For example, if I slide this photo down it's over the one beneath it, while if I slide it across, it's underneath this photo. Your exercise file contains these photos laid out on a slide just like this. To get started learning how object layering works, I'm going to start by resizing these photos a bit and moving them around. I want them to take up as much space as they can on the slide.
