Trim an audio clip
- [Instructor] There may be times when your audio clip is longer than you want it to be. Maybe you only want to use a segment in the middle. Maybe there's information at the end that isn't relevant to your presentation. It's always a good idea to keep your multimedia focused on material the supports the specific point you're making, and to trim out any extraneous material from the beginning or end. Fortunately you don't have to open the clip in a sound editing program. You can make the trim right inside of PowerPoint. I'm here on slide three in my presentation, and you can use any sound clip you've embedded. And note that this technique works on both embedded and linked media.
