- [Instructor] Let's look at the MOS objectives around setting timing for transitions and animations. You'll need to know how to configure transition start and finish options and how to set transition effect duration. I've opened 06_03 Hotel from the exercise file. Let's start with configuring transition start and finish options. It's good to remember that slide transitions happen on mouse click by default. This is generally preferred when a presenter will advance the slides manually during a presentation. However, you can set transitions to happen automatically. My first task is to set slide four to advance after five seconds. I always like to take a look at the Slide Sorter view to check to see if there are any timings already. I'll go ahead and click the Slide Sorter button at the bottom of the screen.
