Save a custom theme in PowerPoint
- It's easy to save your own custom theme in PowerPoint so you can use it to create similar looking presentations in the future. Start by modifying one of the built-in themes. I'll select this one for example. To modify an existing theme, you can come up to the design tab and here in the variance area you can click the menu to select a different color theme. Or we can select a different theme font, or choose a different background style. The colors you see in the background style depend on the color theme you've chosen. So if I choose a different color theme, I'll see different background styles. Once you've customized everything to your liking you'll need to save your presentation as a theme. In the view tab, select the slide master and that opens up the slide master tab. Here select themes and then choose save current theme. You're automatically navigated to the document themes folder.
