Removing the background from pictures

- Now that you know how to change the layering order of objects, you can start doing some really neat things. However, you'll certainly run into this situation quite a lot with your photos and images. I've gone back to my executive slide that we added. This photo looks a little bit different. All the other photos have a nice, clean, white background, whereas this one has a slightly gray background, so it doesn't look as professional and polished as it could. However, PowerPoint has a built-in tool to help us remove this background. It's going to set a transparent background so even if this slide wasn't white, it would still take on the background of whatever the background color of the slide was. I'll click on the photo and then I'll click on the format ribbon tab. On the left hand side click the remove background tool. Instantly, parts of your picture will remain and parts of it will turn purple. The purple areas are those that PowerPoint thinks you want to be transparent. The first…
