Recording and narrating a slideshow
- You can fully narrate your slide show and record it. This is great if you plan on preserving your presentation, such as including it on a DVD, publishing it to the web, or having people view via Kiosk mode, and wanting to be heard during your presentation. All you need is a microphone and PowerPoint will take care of the rest. Make sure your microphone works and then, click the Slide Show ribbon tab. From here, choose Record Slide Show. You can choose to start recording from any slide you want, however, I'm going to start recording from the beginning. When it begins, you can start talking while advancing through your slides. You can decide what sort of things you want to record before you start recording, such as any slide timings and also, any ink and annotations you may add to your slides.
