Notes allow you to have text attached to your slides that do not show up in the actual slideshow. These can help you as you build your presentation. Also, if you have the right setup, you can see your notes during your presentation, but your audience will not see them. This movie explains how to set up the presenter view and explores the options you have there.
- [Instructor] In this week's PowerPoint tips,…I want to talk about Presenter Notes,…which are really useful for keeping track of…any talking points that you need during your presentation…that you do not want to be visible on your slide.…We'll start by hitting the Notes button…down at the bottom of the window,…and you'll see it opens up this notes field.…And it's kind of small, down here…at the bottom of the screen, but you can…hit that Notes button to toggle it on and off.…To make it a little bit bigger, so it will be…easier to work with, you can place your cursor…on this dividing line and then drag up or down…to change the size of the notes field.…
And from here, all I really need to do…is click on that field and add some text.…Usually my notes are going to be what I plan to say…when I'm giving my presentation.…I could write a word for word script,…or I could just write important notes…that I need to remember when I show this slide show.…So let me just type something in here.…And I want you to be aware that the notes…
