In this video, PowerPoint MVP Heather Ackmann shows how to use the Morph feature in PowerPoint to create dramatic transitions using photos and other image files.
- [Instructor] With the addition of Morph,…you now have a couple of ways to animate pictures.…Use the new Morph transition…or stick with classic animations.…Now, whether or not you should morph the pictures…as opposed to using an animation,…that depends on what it is you're trying to do.…And to show you the pros and cons of each morphing,…versus animations, here are a couple of examples.…To follow along, open up the exercise file called…0104Morphingpictures, located in this chapter's folder.…
For our first example, on slide one,…we have a cell phone displaying a webpage.…And what we want to have happen is…to have this webpage scroll up.…And to show you how this slide is built,…let me just move this over here…and that over there.…And, basically, all these objects are layered…on top of each other to accomplish one thing.…To hide how this slide is built or how the animations work.…So this is, basically, just a mask…for this long picture here.…
So now to build our morph sequence,…first step is to go back to the Slide 1 over here…
