Insert and modify 3D models
- [Instructor] 3D models are a newer PowerPoint feature. For the MOS exam, you'll need to know how to insert 3D models and how to modify 3D models. I've opened 05 05 hotel from the exercise file. A common task for the MOS exam might be to insert a 3D model at the end of the presentation on a new blank slide. I'll scroll to the end of the presentation. I'll select the last slide. Click the new slide drop down from the home tab. And then click blank. In this example, I'll insert a 3D model named computer. I'll click insert. Choose the 3D model drop down. And in this case I'll choose from a file. I'd like to also point out that you can choose from online sources and search for other 3D models. This is a good option to use when you're experimenting with this feature in case you don't have access to other 3D models. I'll go ahead and click from a file. Then I'll double-click computer.
