Illustrate trends with sparklines
- [Instructor] A spark line is a small chart that is used to illustrate data in a row. Spark lines can be used to show trends, increases and decreases, high and low values, the cyclicality of your business, and so on. They're very easy to create and they provide a chart while also allowing your user to view the data. I'm going to click Insert. And in spark lines, I have three different choices line, column, and win loss. I'm going to choose column, and says where's the data that you want. Well, I'd like to chart this data in a sparkline. The sales for January, February, and March. It says, choose where you want the spark line to be placed, and I would like the spark lines to be placed close to my data right there. And I'm going to click Okay, and there are my column charts, illustrating sales. Again, being able to compare in this case across time. I'm not comparing one size of panel to another, I'm comparing panel sales…
