Learn to use the new Designer and Morph tools in the Office 365 version of PowerPoint.
- [Voiceover] These tools are currently available for users who are in a program called Office Insider. Office Insider is for current Office 365 Home, Personal, and University subscribers to sign up to try out pre-released builds of Office, while there currently isn't an Office Insider program for Mac users yet. If this sounds like something you'd like to do, you can sign up at products.office.com/office-insider. It's going to bring you to the office insider website, you can read up a little bit more about it, and if it sounds like something you wanna try, you can click to sign-in, and install the Office Insider build.
You don't need to take part in this Office Insider program, you can still get this update when it rolls out to all other Microsoft Office 365 subscription holders. However, in addition to being an Office 365 subscriber, the PowerPoint update is currently also only available for the Windows desktop and Windows mobile versions of PowerPoint. While the update will eventually role out to you if you're using Office 365, and you have a current subscription, if you ever want to check and see if there's an update at any time, you can do that by clicking in the File ribbon tab, from here, select Account.
I can see that I'm currently a subscription holder. In the Office Update section, click Update Options, and now choose Update Now. This is going to immediately check and see if there's any updates for Office. It will also update all your Office products accordingly, if there is an update. To return to PowerPoint from this screen, click the arrow in the top left-hand side of the screen.
