- [Instructor] If you ever find that you need to use the images, video, or audio clips from a PowerPoint presentation, but you don't have access to the original files, you can employ a neat little trick to extract all the media content from the presentation. The trick makes use of the fact that a PowerPoint file is really just a zip file containing all the smaller files that make up the presentation, and we just need to make Windows see it as a zip file instead of a PowerPoint file. First, make sure you can see the extensions at the end of your file names. If you can see .pptx at the end of your PowerPoint files, then you're all set. If you don't see them, which I don't in this case, you'll have to enable them. Here on Windows 10, I can click the View tab, and here check File name extensions. And now I can see the extensions at the end of my file names. Now, the next step is to duplicate the files so that we're not touching the original PowerPoint presentation. Right click on the file…
