Exporting the presentation as a PDF or JPEG
- Another great feature of PowerPoint, is the ability to create a PDF file of all our slides. This way we don't have to waste paper by printing out our entire presentation. And we don't have to worry about anyone editing or changing the slides if I'd sent it to them as a PowerPoint file. I'll click File, choose Export, select Create PDF Document, and then click Create PDF/XPS. I'm prompted to save it, I'll save it to the Desktop, the file type is PDF, and I'm choosing to optimize it for publishing online and printing. I can click Options and fine tune what's going to be created as a PDF. For example, I can have just a current slide be a PDF file, just one particular section, or I can choose a slide range. I can also choose whether I want to create my PDF file out of Handouts, Outline view, Speaker notes, or Slides. I'll click Okay and then click Publish, and my PDF file will be created.
