This video explains the options for aligning and evenly distributing multiple objects on a PowerPoint slide.
- [Narrator] Hi, I'm Garrick Chow and welcome…to PowerPoint tips weekly.…Anytime you're working with multiple objects on a slide…chances are good that you'll want to make sure…they're evenly spaced and lined up with each other…to keep your slides looking neat and clean.…PowerPoint offers a couple of handy tools…for this purpose.…For this example, I've just placed three shapes…onto my slide.…One way to align objects is to first select…all the objects you want to align with each other.…So I'm going to control click each of these shapes.…Now I'll come up to the format ribbon...…
and over here on the right we'll find the align menu.…Clicking that gives me several options.…The first group of three at the top…is for aligning the objects vertically.…So if I choose align left for example,…you can see the left side of the objects line up…to each other.…But they also maintain their vertical distance…away from each other.…Now in this case the objects are all the same width,…so choosing align center or align right...…has pretty much the same results.…
