Crop a video

- [Garrick] There may be times when the framing of a shot in your video may be too zoomed out for your taste or maybe you just want to pull the framing tighter to place emphasis on a particular section of the shot. This is done when the footage is actually being recorded or maybe when it's being edited, but PowerPoint also gives you the ability to crop your video. When you crop a video, you're essentially cutting off portions of the top, bottom, left, or right of the video, or any combination of those four. So for example, maybe I want to zoom in a little tighter on this shot we've been using so far in this chapter. With the video selected, I'll come up to the Format tab of the ribbon. On the right side, we'll find a group of tools called Size, and here's the Crop tool. Notice when I click that, that places handles on the four sides and corners of the video. So now I can drag any of these handles in to crop the visible portion of the video. Now you want to be careful you're grabbing…
