Creating and formatting tables
- Presentations are used to go over all sorts of table data, like sales results, projections, and any day to day business operation. You can create a great looking table right in PowerPoint. With my content placeholder, I'm going to click Insert Table I'll be prompted to choose the number of columns and rows and I can use the up and down arrows to change those values. Don't worry if you aren't sure how many you're going to need you can insert and delete rows and columns later. I'll click Okay and my table's been created. There's a lot of formatting we can do, but the very first thing I want to do is populate it with data. The cursor's already blinking in the first cell, or I can click my mouse in there, and now I'll start typing. I can click my mouse to move between cells, or I can hit the tab key on my keyboard. To move to a new line, hit the tab key again. From here, I'm going to go into my Assets folder. I'll open up Corporate Headquarter Locations, which contains a document of…
