- [Jess] When you open PowerPoint with no file, it's going to bring you to this screen. On the left hand side will be any files that you've accessed recently so that you can quickly open them. Let's make a brand new presentation from scratch. I'll be using our fictional technology company, Red 30. Jenny Torres will be making this presentation, she's the business-to-business sales manager, and she's going to pitch their upcoming sales strategy. To get started, I'm gonna double click on blank presentation, this is going to create a brand new presentation right from scratch. The first thing I like to do is immediately save it, so I'll click file on the top left hand side of the screen, I'll choose save as on the left, and the first thing I need to choose is where I wanna save this. If I was connected to a OneDrive account, maybe through SharePoint, or using a free Microsoft account, I could save it to their cloud storage service and be able to access it anywhere.
