- [Narrator] Let's take a look at the MOS exam objectives for configuring slide shows. You'll need to know how to create custom slide shows, configure slide show options, rehearse slide show timing, and set up slide show recording options. I've opened 02_05 Hotel from the exercise folder. Our first objective is to create custom slide shows. These allow you to deliver variations of a presentation to different audiences. For example, you may only want to show a portion of the slides or maybe you even want to reorder the slides. To do this, we'll click the Slide Show tab on the ribbon. I'd like to point out that this Slide Show tab has all of the options for delivering presentations and also for customizing slide show options. So it's a really good area to be aware of. To create our custom show, I'll click Custom Slide Show, and then choose Custom Shows. The dialog box is pretty empty because we haven't created any custom shows yet.
