It is possible to apply more than one animation to an object on a slide. This video shows how to layer animations and also change the order and timing of those animations to create unique custom effects. This video also briefly explains how this procedure works differently between the Mac and Windows versions of PowerPoint.
- [Instructor] In this week's PowerPoint tips…I wanna talk about applying multiple animation effects…to an object.…To do this you should be familiar with the Animation Pane,…which I talked about in the PowerPoint tips movie…about streamlining animation builds.…You can always go back to that movie for a refresher.…I wanna start on this slide,…which has two objects on it.…I have intentionally simplified it for this example.…So starting with the picture I want to select it,…then go to the Animations ribbon,…and I want to apply one of these animations to it.…Let's just start with the Fly In effect.…
I click on that and we get a quick preview,…so we see that object fly in.…Now if I open up this panel here…there are lots of other animations.…And let's say I also like the Swivel effect,…so let's try that.…I'll click on that, it applies that effect,…and we can see it now swivels onto the screen.…But it does not combine those two effects.…What it does is just applies the last one that I chose.…But if I choose one…and currently the Swivel is the animation that is applied,…
