Apply a 3D rotation
- [Instructor] You can make your video look like it's floating on top of or even popping out of the slide by applying 3D effects. Click on your video and then come up to the Format ribbon, click on Video Effects and come down to 3-D Rotation. The effects here are broken down into three categories, we have Parallel, Perspective and Oblique. Parallel rotations rotate the object to make shapes that look like parallelograms where the top and bottom or left and right sides are parallel to each other. Perspective rotation turns the object so it looks like it's angling towards you or away from you, in other words, the top and the bottom or left and right sides will have one longer than the other. And we're not going to see much of a change here with oblique effects because your object has to have depth applied to it to see the effect. We'll take a look at an example of that later.
