- [Instructor] Let's take a look at the five MOS objectives around animating slide content. You'll need to know how to animate text and graphic elements, configure animation effects, reorder animations on a slide, configure animation paths, and animate 3D models. Animation allows you to control how and when text and objects move on a slide. This can add visual interest and help you emphasize key points. Our first objective is to apply animation to text. I'll select slide 17 for this example and I'll start by clicking in the bulleted text area. A common task might be to add a float in entrance animation to this text. I'll click the Animations tab on the ribbon, click the dropdown for the Animation Gallery, look in the Entrance Animations, and choose float in. As I watch the preview, I can see that each text line comes in one at a time. I'll click the Effect Options dropdown to take a look at my options. I can change this so it floats down.
