Animate a chart

- [Instructor] When we animate objects like smart art and charts, we have additional choices, smart choices, so to speak. I'm going to select our third slide in Animate so that I can show you how we might choose to animate this slide. Click on Animations, select the entire chart, and then we can have the entire chart appear. For example, we wouldn't do this probably, but let's have it fly in. And if we preview this, there's the chart flying in from the bottom. What's cool is we don't have to settle for animating the object as a whole. What we can do is we can actually animate it by series, by category, by elements in the series or elements in the category. I'm going to choose elements in the series first. And notice that we have Atlantic US come in, then Central US, then Pacific US.
