Adjust brightness and contrast

- [Presenter] If your video is under or over exposed, you can adjust the brightness and contrast right insider PowerPoint without having to open up third party video editing software. Let's take a look at how to do this. I'm here on slide four, and here I have a video that's a little bit over exposed. It's overly bright, so I'd like to darken this clip a little bit. So we're going to click on the media clip, and then under the video tools tab, here under the format ribbon, look over on the far left in the adjust group and there's a button with a sun on it that says corrections. Click on that, and you get this grid of 25 squares. The current levels are in the very center here, with the box around them. As you hold your cursor over the other boxes, you can see your media clip get brighter and darker. So brightness is the amount of light or exposure in the media clip. It goes from left to right, low to high. Low brightness is almost black, and high brightness is almost white. Contrast is…
