- [Instructor] When I'm all done making my slides I can add some nice transitions so that when I'm presenting it will look nice and professional when I'm going back and forth between slides. I can start by selecting my first slide and changing to the transitions ribbon tab. From here I can click on any transition to get a preview of what it's going to look like. For example a push effect, a wipe effect, or just fading in. Under effect options these will be constantly changing according to what type of effect you've chosen in this list. I can also click the pull down and choose a lot more different ones. For example subtle effects or exciting transition effects. I'll stick with fade because it's nice, traditional, and yet still professional. You can choose whether or not you want to have a sound and if you like a particular transition but it's too slow or too fast you can speed it up or slow it down by changing the duration.
