Add glow effects
- [Instructor] If your video is on a slide with a busy background, adding a slight glow around the video's edges could help make it stand out a bit more. A glow effect can range from a subtle dark edge to a brightly colored halo. To start, have your video selected, and come up to Video Effects under Format, and roll your mouse down to Glow. The selections on the top row are all very thin, fine glows, and the colors vary as you move from left to right. These colors match your slideshow's theme. And from top to bottom, the glows become wider and bolder. If you don't like the colors you see, you can hold your cursor over More Glow Colors, and you can choose from your Theme Colors, from Standard Colors, Recent Colors, or even More Colors. I'll choose this dark red. And as we've seen a couple times now, once you've chosen the starting point for an effect, if you're not quite satisfied with the default settings, you can come back up to the Video Effects button.
