Did you use the Office Mix add-in from PowerPoint and wonder where it went? In this video, instructor Jess Stratton shows you how to activate the Recording tab, which includes a handy list of all the recording options in PowerPoint in one place.
- [Jess] My name is Jess Stratton,…and welcome to PowerPoint Tips Weekly.…You have a few options for recording in PowerPoint.…In the Slide Show ribbon tab,…you can click Record Slide Show.…You can also add audio by changing to the Insert ribbon tab,…and all the way on the right-hand side of the screen,…click Audio and then Record Audio.…Finally, if you click on the File ribbon tab,…click Export, you'll have another option to create a video.…This way, you can create a nice, prepackaged video…almost like an episode of TV right in PowerPoint.…
It's hard to remember where all those options are.…There's a secret tab that you can add to PowerPoint…to put a Recording tab…right as another ribbon item in PowerPoint.…To get there, we can click Options…at the bottom of the screen.…Click Customize Ribbon on the left,…and all the way on the right-hand side,…scroll down and click Recording.…This is going to enable…the Recording ribbon tab in PowerPoint.…I'll click the OK button,…and the Recording tab appears instantly.…
The first time you click on it, you'll get a welcome button.…
