In this video, staff author Jess Stratton shows you how to view the revision history of the file that's been saved to OneDrive, and how to copy an older revision of a slide to a current presentation.
- [Instructor] There's a few benefits…to saving your file to OneDrive.…In addition to being able to share the file,…you can also turn Auto Save on or off,…so that you don't ever have to worry…about losing any changes.…But a really great feature is the ability…to look over the revision history and pull back…a previous update of the file itself.…I have this file,…and I've been working on this with Jenny.…In fact, I can see that the file has already…changed a little bit,…so I think Jenny's been in here…and made some changes.…We can find out for sure by clicking…where it says Saved to OneDrive.…
It could also be a date here.…From here click Browse Version History.…Here I can see all the versions…that Jenny has been working on,…and myself if I need to get an old version back.…I'm interested in this particular version,…so I'll click Open Version.…It's going to download and open…this previous version.…It's going to tell me that I can either copy…content or save this version…as a completely separate file.…Right now it's read only.…
