In this video, staff author Jess Stratton shows you how to add a thumbnail image of a slide onto another slide to add animation and navigate through a presentation.
- [Instructor] For a long presentation,…the zoom summary is useful…because it gives you thumbnails that you can click on…and get through a long presentation.…But for quicker presentations where you don't need…as much text and it's mostly visuals,…you can use a neat animation called zoom to slide.…I have a slide here,…and I just used the design ribbon tab…to set the background as this picture.…So now let's change to the insert ribbon tab.…Click zoom, and I'm going to choose slide zoom.…I need to choose what kind of slide I want to insert…in my presentation as the thumbnail.…
I'll choose my pie chart.…I'll select it and click insert.…This thumbnail should look familiar.…It's just like the slide summary,…but I'm going to change to the zoom tools tab.…Something that I'm going to do for this particular slide…is make sure return to zoom is checked.…That way, when I'm done zooming into the slide,…I want to go back to this big picture.…That's going to make this big picture feel…like a giant canvas that my entire presentation…
