In this video, staff author Jess Stratton shows you how to use the Designer tool to have PowerPoint use Intelligent Services to offer design suggestions for images, timelines, and dates.
- [Instructor] A feature that's unique to PowerPoint…for Office 365 is the Designer tool.…If you aren't a graphic designer,…or just don't feel like you have a good eye for design,…but you do have a working internet connection,…you can use Designer.…Designer senses when you include an image onto a slide,…and will suggest some custom layouts…to complement that image.…You may decide to use one of those ideas,…you might not like any of them,…and you can just close out of the tool.…There's no right or wrong.…But it's there to help you if you need it.…Let's see it in action.…I'll come down here to this first blank slide…that I created,…I'll insert an image by changing to the Insert ribbon tab,…I'll click Pictures, Picture from File,…and my assets folder,…I'll browse to a photo, and choose Insert.…
And because I do have a working internet connection,…the Design Ideas pane pops up on the right hand side.…All of these are different ways…that I can display this image…to be a little bit more visually appealing on a slide.…
