In this video, staff author Jess Stratton shows you how to share the presentation to collaborate in real time, and how to add comments to each other or chat live.
- [Instructor] You can share this PowerPoint presentation…with co-workers and friends so that the other person…can edit it and collaborate on it with you.…A prerequisite to make that happen is that the file…has to be saved on OneDrive, versus locally on your Mac.…If it's on OneDrive, it can be shared with somebody else.…If I click when the file was last saved…in the middle of the screen, I can see that it has…already been saved to my OneDrive account.…So I'll go ahead and click Share…on the top right-hand side of the screen.…In the Share dialogue I'm first going to click…Anyone with this link can edit.…
This is going to allow me to choose what happens…if somebody gets a hold of this link.…It defaults to Anyone, as I can see by the check mark,…but you can also set it for people in your organization…such as anybody at Red30 Tech.…I can also have the link work with people…who have existing access to the document,…or Specific people.…I can also decide if I want to make the link read-only…or editable.…If I only want people to be able to view it…
