In this video, staff author Jess Stratton shows you how to advance each slide automatically, and not stop looping the presentation unless the escape key is pressed.
- [Instructor] PowerPoint is great…for unattended presentations.…This is also called kiosk mode.…You may want your presentation to run…in the lobby of a hotel or a conference…or your place of business.…It's also good for photo slideshows.…To set up your show, change to the Slide Show ribbon tab,…and click Set Up Slide Show.…It defaults to being presented in full screen by a speaker,…but I'm going to come down here…to the advance slides section…and change it to use timings, if present.…After that, I'll change the show type…to be browsed at a kiosk.…
It's going to do a few things.…It's going to automatically tell it to loop continuously…until you hit the Escape key on the keyboard.…It's also going to gray out the advance slides area.…It should automatically check off use timings,…but it doesn't always.…That's why I changed it first.…I'll click OK.…And we're not quite done yet.…If you remember, we set up a transition for each slide.…And we have that transition set…to advance on mouse click.…I'm going to highlight all of my slides…
