- [Instructor] Before we begin, we have a few different courses on PowerPoint, and I really want to make sure you're watching the right course for the right software version that you have. This course is for PowerPoint for Mac for Office 365 subscribers, not the standalone version of PowerPoint 2019. I really want to make sure you're on the right course, as the Office 365 version contains some extra features that aren't available on PowerPoint for Mac 2019, and I don't want you to get frustrated if you get excited learning about a feature that you can't use.
So, here's how to check. Click PowerPoint on the top of the screen and then choose About PowerPoint. It says Microsoft PowerPoint for Mac, but under license, it says Office 365 Subscription. Your version might even say, Office 2019 at the top, but the keyword here is subscription. Everybody who's here for that Office 365 version will see the word subscription in there. If you don't see that word, you most likely have the standalone version of PowerPoint, and will need to change to our PowerPoint 2019 for Mac course.
For everybody else, if you see something like this, you're in the right place. I'll click the X on the top left-hand side of the screen, and we'll get back to where we were.
