In this video, staff author Jess Stratton shows you how to add speaker notes to any particular slide that contains talking points that are too important to forget.
- [Instructor] Presenting is hard enough…as it is without having to remember…what we wanted to talk about.…If there's something that you really don't want…to forget to mention, you can use something…called speaker notes.…You can write notes for each slide…or just certain slides.…The audience won't see these notes…if you're presenting on a different monitor.…Underneath each slide is the speaker note area.…If I need to add a new note, all the way…at the bottom of the screen, to the left…of Comments, click Notes.…I'll see a new popup region at the bottom…of the screen that says Click To Add Notes.…
I can click inside and start typing.…I can hit the Enter key and continue typing…as much or as little as I'm going to need.…If I need more room or I want…to see it a little bit better,…I can drag up with my mouse right over…this horizontal line.…Now that the speaker note is there,…I don't have to do anything.…I can just move through my presentations…and add notes where I think I might forget something.…Once I clicked on Notes, that one first time,…
