- [Instructor] There really are a couple of different ways that we get out of the conversations that we have in our chat bot. One way is when the user says they're done, they say goodbye, so if a user says bye, there's a routine, a topic, that is called goodbye. Says thanks for chatting with me. I hope to chat with you again. Nothing else happens. There are a number of different triggers for this. And every time the answer of course is the same. Thanks for chatting with me. I hope to chat with you again. But we shouldn't need the user to say goodbye when we know the conversation is already done, or should be done. Sometimes as we've moved along the conversation path, we're at a point where logically, we believe there's a pretty good chance that we've done everything we need to do, that we've answered our user's questions at that point, so we want to check in with them, say, "Did we answer your question?"
