- [Instructor] We have a calculated column in our data model that uses find to determine the position of the word mouse within a product name. And then uses if to place the word most in our calculated column, if there is indeed a mouse in the product name. The problem when you're using find is that find is case-sensitive. And there are two different ways you can deal with that, you could either convert for the purpose of comparison the string to either upper or lowercase. And do the same with the text that's in the product name. That's one option, is a text conversion to upper or lower case. For both of the items that we're comparing. The other possibility is if we know something about our product names. And we know that they are usually either lowercase or are proper case but never uppercase.
