Power BI datasets, dashboards, reports, and workbooks can easily be shared with your organization as an app. Click the Publish button then choose which elements you wish to publish in the app. If you have modifications you wish to share, publish the app again.
- [Instructor] One of the reasons for…app workspaces is not just collaboration…but it's sharing beyond your initial collaboration.…So if I go back to my retail sales analysis workspace,…I have the ability to publish this app,…this is really pretty slick.…I have a report that I created called a draft report,…I don't have any workbooks, I do have a dataset…and I have one dashboard.…All of this, I can say, well, the dashboard,…I don't know about including it in the app,…I won't include it when I publish the app right now,…or I want to include the dashboard…but I don't want to include the report.…
So item by item, I get to choose…what's included in this bundle…and then I can publish this app.…The app is going to be called the…same name as the app workspace,…in this case retail sales analysis…and I'm required to enter a description.…And you don't need to say it includes…specific things if you don't wish to,…you can simply provide a description that would help people…understand why they might want to engage with this app,…
