- [Narrator] Microsoft power BI allows for a variety of different kinds of data sources to be brought into the software. Underneath the home tab, we can see that some of those data sources include Excel, other power, BI databases, SQL servers, and a variety of other kinds of data. To see a more complete list we can go to Get Data, select their own, Get Data. And from here, we can see that it also allows us to bring in those text or CSV files, which are basically the same files that we just exported out from the revenue environment. So it would be possible instead of doing that conversion like we did into Excel, that we could just take that text file and bring it directly into the power BI interface. Additionally, there are many more kinds of data sources that power BI can grab information from.
