To use Quick Insights for a data set, click the dataset menu and then choose Quick Insights. You'll see a notification that Power BI is searching for insights and you will be notified when it is ready. Click the View Insights link to see the insight visualizations created and pin any you wish to save to a dashboard.
- And the final way to add tiles to a dashboard…is to use a feature called quick insights.…To use quick insight, all we do is choose a data set.…For example, our customer catalog request data set…that we imported way back at the beginning of this course.…You may or may not recall that it's a large Excel table…that includes information about first names and cities,…other demographic information, and it has 200 records in it.…And what I can do is point to that data set,…click the menu button and choose quick insights.…
We see a notification that says that Power BI is searching…this table for insights and will…notify us when our insights are ready.…And what happens is that Power BI finds…some insights and allows us to view them.…I'm simply going to click and it says these…are quick insights for the customer catalog request table…and it's going to display the insight for us.…Each of them is a visualization,…for example, this is a count of last name by month…and it says that this is about outliers.…
January has noticeably more people…
