Photographing the newborn as his outfit is changed
- One tip I have is to never put your camera down during a session, even during changes, diaper changes, wardrobe changes, things of that sort. We captured a gorgeous yawn from Raylan just because I have my camera ready as soon as his shirt came off. Just some faces. Just some little faces. I love when they look, like right at you. They're like, what? What are you doing to me? So cute. So, what we can do is, we'll swaddle him, and then we'll do a couple more family ones as well. He's so, sorry, I have to grab one more. He's so content, that I'm like, this is so cute. (parents mumbling) You always have to be in the moment as a photographer. Raylan was wide awake in his diaper, and looking as adorable as ever, so I asked his parents if I could get on the bed, and look at him, take a few shots, and those are some of my favorites from the session. I wanted to capture Raylan with each of his parents individually, to show that intimate connection between both parents. So, you're gonna be…
