- We decide to use a simple wrapping technique…to keep baby Raylan nice and snug in his little nest.…We used a little stretchy fabric,…and I tied it up very gently and carefully,…to make sure that his safety was number one priority,…and that he was kept nice and warm.…When you don't have a basket,…you can use a few makeshift things around the house,…and just use window light next to a natural source.…So, I just grab a few bath towels,…since we don't have a basket,…and you can roll them to create just a little bit…of an edge,…sort of like a basket edge around the baby,…and this will help your blankets fall nicely over the edges,…rather than just having a flat blanket bunched up…on the floor,…by using blankets, and by using bath towels…rolled up, you can create this little edge for them,…and then you can stuff it to your liking after that.…
I'll kind of put the middle of it in the center,…and then let a lot of the blankets just kind of fall off,…so that it's a ring.…I also know you can use pet beds,…things of that sort,…
